Reading Buddies
Our third grade friends shared their digital informational books today. They showed the first graders how they included photos, captions and other features on their Google document. We enjoyed learning about different topics.

UID/UCS Winter Field Day
We had a great time meeting new friends at UCS on Wednesday. We enjoyed building snow sculptures, running relay races, sledding and playing games together. Our students really enjoyed eating lunch there and playing on their playground!

Happy Valentine's Day!
The first graders had a great day spreading kindness. They found the card they made for their secret valentine and delivered it. They walked over to Jeri Hill Senior Living Center and delivered all of the thoughtful cards they made for community members. At the end of the day they shared their cards with classroom friends. We had a great day together!

100th Day Collections
Today was the 100th day of school! We read a few books about celebrating 100 days in first grade. The children made 100th day headbands, created designs with 100 objects and counted to 100 in different ways. We had a fun day!
